Abi is fantastic! She is patient, clear and really responsive to all our needs. She has helped us work on heel work and will soon be teaching us how to use an e-collar. She is exceptionally knowledgeable and has really helped us!
Abi has helped transform our dog's behaviour. She was quite reactive and anxious - of course a lot of that was the way I was handling her!! Watching Abi work with her, and then working with her myself under Abi's guidance has been a revelation. At last I have found a dog trainer who genuinely does produce real results.
We chose to use Abi after watching her work on instagram. She came to our house and was great with chipper, she showed us good techniques to work with him. Thanks Abi, I would highly recommend you.
Our beautiful dog came to us from Abi as her previous owners were not able to keep her. All of the hard work that Abi put in before we got her put us in a brilliant position to keep up the training. We have continued to work with Abi since, having both 1:1 training sessions and taking part in group classes and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Abi has given me a brilliant insight into dog behaviour and is a clear and patient teacher and our wonderful dog is testament to her skills.
We haven't worked with AK-K9 for very long but we are already seeing massive changes. Not just in our reactive dog but in our confidence with handling him. We opted to have a board & train for our daxie and I'm so glad we did, from the minute we handed him over everything changed. We have of course had to put in hard work but Abi has been amazing at supporting us, keeping in touch & holding us accountable for his continuous progression. She's given us the tools to work on home boundaries, door reactivity, dog reactivity, human reactivity, livestock reactivity & general silliness. The difference is insane. Best trainer, in my opinion because when she had our boy, she looked after him like one of her own. Shes so balanced & has brought a lot of calmness to our lives. Thank you 💪🙌
Abi has been our go to for boarding and training our dog Fitz. Her help and advice has been invaluable and her knowledge of dog behaviour and training is excellent. You can see that from the work she’s put in with her own three dogs. Fitz needed help improving recall around distractions, especially with over excitement around other dogs. He stayed with Abi on two occasions for a board and train and I’m so glad he did! She helped reinforce and amplify all the things we were working on and gave us tons of helpful advice that didn’t even cross our minds. Even though Abi is almost three hours from us, when we need to broad Fitz, Abi is always our go to. A testament to how amazing she is! Thank you again.
We have recently collected our 2 year old Rottweiler Bear from a 2 week board and training with Abi and we have been completely blown away by how much Bear has learnt and developed over this time.Abi completely understood the importance of building a relationship with Bear first and took the time and care needed to gain his trust. This gave us so much reassurance knowing that we had left Bear with someone very experienced and also someone that he felt very comfortable with too.Bear is finally able to be neutral around other dogs and listens to commands along with having an amazing recall.Abi’s training has allowed us to give bear so much more freedom and we couldn’t thank her enough. We are very excited to continue Bears training journey even further with Abi's help and support.
Abi has been wonderful in helping me overcome many difficult hurdles that I had with Bailey. Bailey is my first dog and being a rescue, has been incredibly difficult. Abi helped me push through and stopped me from giving up. Since incorporating boundaries and more discipline in the house, Bailey has become a new dog! This has helped not only helped within the house but means we can now enjoy safe, off-lead walks.
Thank you Abi for restoring my faith and making not only Bailey a happier dog but making me a happier owner!!Would 100% highly recommend.
Abi is a great and patient trainer. She has really helped me and my Rottie with various things. From being chilled out in the house ( and not destroying things ) to walking like a a gentleman. He absolutely loves Abi and all the different training she provides from 1-1 to school sessions. She has really helped my relationship with my dog!
Abi is amazing, a brilliant trainer who really knows her stuff. She’s really helped with me with my Dachshunds reactivity as well as other things I didn’t even now I needed help with. Also gave great advise on the recent arrival of our new puppy! Have already recommended to a few friends and will be using again in the future for further training. Thank you Abi
We have been working with abi since we got our Newfoundland pup Ivar, we still have lots of work to do but abi has been amazing! She helped us ease the transition with crate training, the wait and sit command. His recall has came on wonderfully and his overall behaviour. Abi is a wizard! I couldn’t recommend her anymore!
We contacted Abi last year with a huge cry for help. We adopted a 11 month old Dobermann x last year who had a rough start to life and his behaviour reflected it. Abi has helped us understand our dog, help him and train him to be the best dog he can be. We’ve gone from fear aggression, dominating, no recall, severe separation anxiety to having a calm, settled, obedient dog. It’s honestly changed our lives. Abis approach worked perfectly for us, she checks in often and knows Hudson so well. He now goes for walks with Abi and Izzy twice a week, and gets socialised at the field with other dogs. I trust them with him 100%, and we would be lost without the help we’ve had. As you can tell I HIGHLY recommend x
I had a session with Abi last August due to my dog being reactive with other dogs. Abi was professional and listened to the issues we were having. After 2 hours I could not believe what had been achieved. She gave me the tools I needed to continue to work with my dog to help resolve the barking issues we were having. After the session Abi checked in with me to see how me and my dog were doing, and almost a year later, today I received a lovely message from her checking on how things are going now. This just shows how caring and passionate she is about her clients and the relationship she builds in just a short amount of time with both dog and owner. I truly thank her for her help and continued support. It’s always good to know you can just drop her a message at anytime and she is always ready to help. Highly recommend 😊
We are utilising 1-1s, School and Pack walks with Abi with our puppy and she has been fantastic! She is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain things to us, and educate us and our dog. Abi also focuses on us and our handling, ensuring we can relax too and enjoy the training journey. Abi very much goes at our pace and is on hand for advice and encouragement as our puppy grows and develops through different stages, and as we go through different life stages too. We can see a clear change in our pup which is fantastic. Would absolutely recommend AK K9!
We have been working with Abi for about 8 months now, and even before then I really benefitted from her Instagram page. We have a fear reactive 2 year old and Abi has helped both our confidence and handling, and Hank’s reactivity and calmness. I’m constantly being complimented on how well behaved he is at just 2. Abi is generally just a lovely person to train with, is really knowledgable and experienced with dogs, and is so good at going at our pace as well. My only regret is that we didn’t work with her straight away upon getting a puppy!
I've not worked with ak k9 personally yet. But she's shared lots of great tips and information via her Instagram on how to do training. This in turn has helped me to control my sisters dogs when I have them visit. She is great, so thank you Abi 😊
So far, we have had one session with Abi and were so impressed. Our dogs show reactivity towards dogs and one towards people. She taught us so many techniques that we have put in place already and we have seen improvements. Looking forward to more sessions to help our dogs feel more confident . We would definitely recommend
